BOOKING & CANCELLATION POLICY
Clear terms for your charter.
Get Tight Offshore is operated by Shoal Charters LLC. Contact Blake at (251) 324-5907 to cancel, discuss a change or ask a policy question.
Guest cancellations and no-shows
Contact Blake to cancel. With at least five days (120 hours) before the scheduled Central-time departure, choose an eligible refund or credit. Inside five days, credit only. No-call / no-show forfeits the deposit.
Refunds and processing costs
For eligible guest-requested refunds, only the actual processing cost may be deducted where permitted and disclosed in the accepted booking terms. Operator-cancelled trips receive a full refund if rescheduling does not work. No online card surcharge is added.
Boe approves every refund or credit. Approved refunds are initiated within five business days after the refund choice is confirmed; bank posting may take longer. Guest-requested early returns and late arrivals remain charged at the booked price unless Boe approves an exception.
Future trip credits
New cancellation credits must be applied to a replacement booking within 12 months of issuance. The replacement trip may take place later. Credits are for the original customer only; partial use is allowed and the remaining dollar balance retains its original booking deadline. Previously issued credits keep their agreed terms. If a replacement booking is cancelled, credit-funded amounts return as credit and eligible new payments are handled separately. Returned credit receives a new 12-month booking deadline for operator cancellations and keeps its original deadline for guest cancellations. Unused original credit retains its original deadline.
A more expensive replacement trip requires payment of the difference. Rebooking the original date for another guest does not independently change the cancellation rules.
Weather and operator cancellations
The captain makes weather safety decisions. If weather, boat, equipment or crew prevents departure, we try rescheduling first and refund if no replacement date works. For a weather-shortened trip, the captain proposes the adjustment and Boe approves any refund or credit.
The captain determines whether conditions are safe. Light rain or a forecast concern does not automatically cancel a trip. Mandatory gratuity is recalculated on an adjusted charter price.
Exceptional circumstances
Boe reviews documented evacuation, travel disruption and safety-related cases individually. No automatic additional penalty applies.
Deposits and passenger paperwork
The deposit is normally 50% of the base charter price, due within 72 hours of approval after the booking contact acknowledges the full liability and media packet. That deposit deadline is separate from the five-day cancellation notice. An overdue deposit does not automatically reopen the date.
The passenger documents are provided separately. Each adult or guardian signs the required physical signature sheet before departure. Media permission is optional and separate.
Existing bookings and credits keep the terms accepted when booked. Policy reference: GTO-CANCELLATION-2026-10-22.
